Azure Hue
A downloadable game for Windows
This is my entry for the 19th RPG Maker Horror Game Jam!
How could something so beautiful bring about such awful visions? There's got to be a more reasonable explanation. I mean..."bad luck charms" don't really exist...right?
As a horror game, expect to see the following:
⚠️WARNINGS:⚠️
- -Pixelated gore/blood
- -Mild swearing
- -Flashing or flickering lights
- -Just a few possible jumpscares
- (Warnings are included in the downloadable file.)
--
This game can probably be finished in less than 20mins.
There is only one ending.
!! SPOILERS // HINTS !! (Click here)
!!!!!SOLUTIONS!!!!!
Desert area (Starting location): to progress, make sure to interact with a number of things before trying to leave at the bottom of the map.
1st chase: Recommended to hold shift after the prompted save so you can run right away. There are different tiles that are darker to help you navigate your way. (YOU CAN DO IT I BELIEVE IN YOU)
Long hallway: Walk all the way to the end (bottom of the screen) and back up. It's not a looping hallway (:
(Hints are also included in the downloadable file)

love this classic rpgm horror vibe, never get tired from it🖤
Aw thank you so much Abra! 😊
I found a bug where, if I went into the forest near the end instead of continuing downwards, the purple-haired girl (forgot her name) would spawn in front of the exit instead of to the right of it. She would move to the left, throw the jewel, and attempt to back into the exit. However, since her position is off, she wouldn't be able to leave this area, softlocking me.
Hm, that's really strange! I've recently updated the files (both for browser and the downloadable file) to update the map, because the player isn't supposed to walk past and/or into the forest to begin with.
Hopefully this fixes the situation! You may need to clear your cache on browser or re-download the file to see any updates (as I'm not sure old save files will reflect the fix.)
Sorry about that!
I've just played the browser version of this game and can confirm that this bug is still there.
Aah I'm so sorry! Do you know where on the map that this error occurs? I'm not sure what's causing it 😭
I want into the forest at the very end (to that forest path from which the monster runs at you) instead of continuing to the end of the road. I suggest you check the transfer event.
aah, ok I think I've fixed the issue with the newest update: It wasn't the transfer that was the issue; it was me having made the next map use a move route that turned the player around/step in a direction that would otherwise lock the player in a weird position. Apologies!! I think I've fixed it properly now, though!
